I have a Liquid Containment 8ltr Bladder that I have not used yet, bought it a while back to do the 2 day type rides and haven`t had a chance yet,, till next weekend ;)

Questions are aimed at those who have used them before,

    1. How did you best retain the bladder when full ??

    2. Did you need to vent it regularly during the day ??

    3. How strong and did you have any problems with the retaining loops ??

I have setup a couple of webbing straps wrapped around my pannier frames front & back, draped the bladder over the top of my tent gear bag on the rear top plate.
Retained bladder loops on each corner to web straps with Carabiners (good quality for up to 650kg) not cheapos,,,

    Thanx in advance

    1. How did you best retain the bladder when full ?? Ocky Straps or the like, on the end of my seat against my top bag when full. Rolled up and under my straps holding my top bag with my chair when empty

    2. Did you need to vent it regularly during the day ?? No didnt touch it, was from Bridsville to the Cordillo downs so it was plenty hot and shaken, no problems

    3. How strong and did you have any problems with the retaining loops ?? Well thats how I held it on and didnt move. They seem plenty strong. I guess it comes down to common sense and emptying it as soon as you can dont have to have it so tight has to use as a banjo string
