What sort of Money are aftermarket fuel Tanks worth
Have found one for 12 wr450 for 275 coins
What have they been worth in the past for previous models
Just wondering if I should wait for more options??July 29, 2012 at 9:39 pm #226916Bob,
I’ve seen the way you ride
You should consider a supertanker or a fuel trailer

What’s the capacity of the tank you were looking at ?
Adam.

July 29, 2012 at 10:32 pm #226919Bob,
Being a US site double check the capacity as a US gallon is 3.8 LITRES.
By the way litre can be spelt both ways
I guess it must be bi
Seems to be a good price

Yeah I was there for the first question
I just thought as adventure tanks are normally a lot more expensive he should know that you had purchased a fuel tanker by comparison to what he is after

Don’t know but
don’t the Safari ones have incorporated shrouds ????
I don’t want inc shroudsit says 3.0 gal (11.3litres )
at that rate i would get 115 km to bone dry on the map its onshipping is free
not for os though
I sent an email see what they say
July 29, 2012 at 10:56 pm #226935Yes they have incorporated shrouds on that one. Was just a thought, not a lot local for them yet eh? I know building the APC WR’s getting stuff was a struggle at times with the tanks only being finished and delivered less than a week before they left.
Did you get the mapping tool with the bike Bob? I know the APC bikes were delivered with a very rich map and it sucked fuel like a $2 hooker! When it was changed leaner it would die sometimes when the throttle was chopped

July 29, 2012 at 11:05 pm #226920Yeh it has a Supposed aggressive Map in it
Excellent for flowing single and snotty fire trail where you can keep it gassed
but not so good for slow single
i haven’t been bothered to change map yet but i would for a slower track
and if you are tired and want to cruise home it is shite it just can’t be done on the map in it now
July 30, 2012 at 11:15 pm #226937Shipping is $60 and bugger all diff for 2 or 3 tanks
