Not sure if this is available in Aussie land but it looks like nice bling to me.
I also have not seen a price for it yet, no doubt it will be aimed at the Euro market so the Euro to $Au conversion wont be an economical proposition uless some one (BMW?) imports it.September 18, 2009 at 8:39 pm #153508Hey Wiked, when we went on the BMW test ride day, they had one that looked just like that, the graphics looked trick and the Akrapovic gave it a sweet sound as opposed to the “postie bike” noise the standard ones made.
September 18, 2009 at 8:54 pm #153510OK so they prolly just wack on the sticker kit and muffler and another 1.5-2K on the price tag.
I am looking at the Leo Vince exhaust for mine, it’s probably at 1/3 the price of the Akro and is half the price of a Remus system and it looks noiice with the carbon fibre end thingy.
September 18, 2009 at 9:07 pm #153513We fitted an Akrapovic to my brothers KATO530 and it sounded sweet and looked trick and we also put a Leo Vince on his 990ADV as the Acropovic system’s price was prohibative. The 990 sounds really good with the LV system although the cans just dont quite look as good as the Akra’s.

AnonymousAs mentioned in the older threads I think the standard G450X looks a litle boring, but looks great with the factory decal kit on. The Akro exhaust do look great but you also pay the price for them.
Besides to import stuff from Eurpoe now would be the go, the GBP is as low 1.86!!! When I moved over here it was 2.55
September 23, 2009 at 2:08 am #153896Looks like the one we saw at the Gold Coast bike show in Feb

TB
September 23, 2009 at 3:32 am #153903I like the wheels.
Moto I think it would be just as easy to order an Akro pipe locally the postage would be high from OS and I dont know if there’s much between the GBP and the Euro ATM but I’m not buying one anyway.
The bike is cheap enough but sheesh they think BMW owners are made of money when it comes to bling and accessories, how about 40 Euros for 2 short blue radiator hoses!

AnonymousAre aftermarket coloured silicone hoses for bikes and cars cheaper here? I thought they were expensive everywhere. I couldn’t see TB’s pics before but they are visible now and I’m reminded just how much I like the look of that bike.

AnonymousUsing the current rate those hoses would cost $67.63. I don’t think that’s too bad if they are the decent silicone ones. I’ve seen intercooler ones for turbocharged cars for $200+ each!
September 23, 2009 at 4:11 am #153922A set of silicone hoses for a KX85 here is about $90 so that is cheap really for Beemer ones.

They are shaped specially s I doubt they can be bought locally, yet. As far as I know no-one is importing the Speedbrain stuff to AUS.The bike does bling up well though.
I can only imagine what it would look like with black & gold motards like a certain lady here has just purchased
September 24, 2009 at 8:48 pm #153986September 24, 2009 at 11:27 pm #154105I love the snout look on the front guard but I can’t tell if its because its different that I like it or just the sharpness of it.
September 25, 2009 at 12:22 am #154109Face it Blue, it’s the BMWness of it.
December 17, 2009 at 8:22 am #154110There is some bling available now….
Pedro Bianchi’s Speedbrained 450 with the big ass back tanks.
