Wouldnt that depend if she is laying on her left or right side?

Ok so when its Laying on its left use your left handed tools and when its on its right use your right handed tools. always do every bolt up using a extension bar so you can swing of them to. If you snap a bolt just weld a head on it.

I figured that would be the case with the clutch. Was it a pretty complicated task or piss easy even for the not so mechanically minded?

piece of cake mate, no harder than doing a normal clutch swapout. you have to get the Suzuki thrust waser that goes behind the inner basket though. Also for some reason the CR250 steels have a slightly different tooth profile and I had to use the GG ones.

Just found a guy on Ebay in Sydney who does GG clutches for about $140 delivered, So next time would probably go down this path.

Pete, The GG like any bike has its peculiarities but most of them are easy to live with or get around. I brought mine because it was a six speed box lower seat height and a linkage rear end. They make a great trail bike and plenty of Bling available for them if you know where to look , you have to become a member of the elite GG owners club before this can be divulged
I reckon spare parts prices are a lot better than KTM and if you have a good dealer you cant go wrong. A lot of parts from other Bikes will also fit ( I currently have a YZ kick starter and a Honda clutch and WR spec Pivot pegs on mine )
I dont buy a bike on resale value it has to be a happy partnership, and in all honesty they are not that bad now anyway, makes for good buying second hand :cheer:
These bikes are becoming increasingly more popular, because everyone who has one raves about it. If the Japs made 2 strokes they would sell a squillion of them

I think im just about sold on the GG mate, the spare parts, the 6 speed box, linkage, all a bonus B) I dont buy with resale value in mind it was the only thing i could find to pick at  the bling factor doesnt bother me as im not a bling man, i would rather have a work horse than a show pony  :P the nambotin is a wild bit of gear, too much bling for me but still a great looking bike.

Hmmm not sure hasnt got a speedo it was removed at about 2500 kms about 3 years ago. I reckon probably about 6-7000 kays on 2nd piston and 3rd ring change, Not that it really needed them, has been a very reliable bike, except for some minor issues.
