Here to find as many people to ride with as possible.
18, 06 ec300, keen as, grade 4 I’d like to think, want to be able to know that every weekend will entail sun up to sun down riding both days and that’s not happening at the moment to my disgust, Newcastle.
I enjoy chasing people of similar or faster pace and hills.
1st year fitter + machinist.
October 1, 2009 at 4:55 pm #154881Ha,ha G’day young fella and welcome to the forum.
I remember being an 18yr old apprentice sparky, just, and I used to ride my XL250s to work.
I still dont know how I survived that for 6 months, only ever fell off that bike once :cheer:We have a fair few members in your area and the Central Coast (I am just near Wyong) so you wont have trouble finding people to ride with.
We are a friendly lot too despite the shananagans that go on here sometimes – most of the time, when you actually meet the members you will see what I mean.Keep an eye on the Ride Gatherings section and something will come up that suits you, or if you feel confident – organise one yourself, interested members will help you there too.
Cheers.
Beemer AKA; WikdOctober 1, 2009 at 9:07 pm #154885Hi and Welcome Diddel

18 years old, oh so many years ago, being 18 I ask you read this and remember we are a site targeted at the older rider.
Enjoy and keep an eye in the ride gathering section like WB said and you will pick up some rides for sure.

October 5, 2009 at 10:47 am #154884Welcome Diddel, Good to see your on a 300 Gasser
Will undoubtedly catch up with a ride with you soon enough. Good to see your keen, I reckon it is good for a young fella to ride with the old blokes,as he can pick up some trail skills and maturity that would otherwise be only gained from his own experiences, often with associated pain :laugh:Ollie
