Hi Everyone,
I’ve been meaning to post something up on OBT for sometime now…but you what it’s like, time tends to get away. I’m based in Sydney and ride anywhere and everywhere from Clarence, Stroud, Bulahdelah, Watagans, Sth Coast etc.
I actually would like to ride from Stroud to Old Bar sometime but need to work out the access point to the adjacent forest near to Nabiac without riding on the Pac. Hwy and linking up with Possum Brush Road…need to access the forest from say Krambach or there abouts…anyone got suggestions ??? Got a feeling private property access maybe required ???
Anyway, hope ride with you people sooner than later.
Regards, Nick.
December 1, 2009 at 12:24 am #163290Gday Wally Boy,welcome to OBT and thanks for the intro. Judging by your avatar you are riding a Husky?
Plenty of the OBT crew ride the areas you mentioned so it shouldn’t be too hard to hook up with the crew for a blast.
If you have been looking about on OBT for a while you probably are aware that you will need thick skin and a good sence of humour in order to put up with the banter.
Cheers
MickDecember 1, 2009 at 12:26 am #163291Hi ya Wally Boy.

MickActually the avatar a bit outdated, recently upgraded to one of those red, white and black Huskys (2008 TE450) and trust me the skin is thick and things tend to run off me just like water from a ducks back.

December 1, 2009 at 12:55 am #163300G’day Wally, I’ve noticed some of the ride reports with you blokes over at DBW and your rides look like fun. It’ll be good to get a mix up going with you blokes!

Regards, Nick.Could go round the long way and in from hillville. Looking on the map wrights lane maybe? Got some mates in Krambach I’ll ask next time.
Old bar is hardly worth the effort. Tinonee take away then meander back to Stroud I suggest.December 1, 2009 at 9:51 am #163372Diddel wrote:

If you’ve got mates that live at Krambach please ask them if you can access the forest from either Kings Creek Road, Wrights lane or Kalawanda Rd ??? Thanks !!!

Looking at the map I saw chatham creek road goes out to krambach way but changes name along the way. I’ve been along and around chatham creek road many many times but never followed it that far. -
