I’m yet another newby to the site. Was sugested to join here because aperantly there are alot of members who know the ins and outs of the xr600

Well I have recently got my hands on an ’87 XR600. It is my first bike so I am at the bottom of my learning venture, I have a long way to go. Never had a bike as a kid but any time a mate would let me get on one I would give it ago, but never really any good. Don’t really do too much off roading, yet, as I don’t have any recent experience on the dirt, but that will change in the near future. Don’t plan on ever trying to be a “crusty demon”, just want to get out and enjoy some of the Aussie outback and the bike is cheap to run for work daily. Plan on doing all the work they may be needed myself so if any one can point me in a direction to some good info to read plase don’t hesitate. As for the pig, not sure what she has had done to her. Apperantly she had a rebuilt,top/bottom and box, only around 2k ago. Has a very large black exhaust on it that is noisy as hell and could fit a bean can in. At the moment it has a small rear sprocket, set up for highway use, but plan on changing that in the future aswell. Well that is enough typing and cheers in advance for all the help and tips I’m sure I’ll get in the future.

Another XR you beauty Plenty of help and advice here on everything mate just bring your thick skin :laugh: as there are a lot here that dont appreciate a perfect bike like an XR :laugh: :laugh:

you ride a honda hey :huh: I`m sure you give the old girl what for on the trails and make it really perform.
You should hook up with our resident gigle pot , Moose , he to rides a 600, apparently these hondas are not bad bikes,
