Hi folks, this is my first post here. My name is Jan. I am an Australian born in South Africa and I am the happy owner of a Tenere 660. Typical use of the bike apart from my regular trip to work in Sydney are weekend trips with the boss on the back around NSW. I see you have fairly slick rubber on the Ten at the moment,,,, Do you get amongst the dirt often on your NSW adventures ???
The Tenere`s ae well suited to a lot of conditions (as I`m sure TB will tell you ) :laugh:

Thanks Eagle’02. The tyres are still the originals and are OK for now. I have done a couple of rides in the State Forrests around North West Sydney and whilst not proper for high speed off road usage, they seem to be an OK compromise between my commute and occasional weekend longer rides, including some off road rides. I will upgrade to something different when the time comes to replace them (not sure what though). Cheers.
