Holy shit!!!! How’d that happen do you reckon? A thrown chain? Is there any marks on the engine case from the chain? I don’t think it will effect the over all integrity of the frame too much though.

No engine damage, could have thrown a chain and the engine case has been repaired. ??? I might forward these pics to Reid Engineering in Geelong to see if they could work some magic.

Looks like you may need a set of Bullet proof Design Radiator Guards for the BRP. ;)

Hey mate, on the hunt for a good pair of rad guards. I’m looking for a pair that will work with the Acerbis LR tank.

The UniBiker guards will fit with an Acerbies tank, seen it, fitted it ;) about 3 years ago after much research, and I maen heaps of research I put Unibiker guards on my bike. Crash has them as does Ollie I think. They are super strong, bolt the two radiators together through the frame and are a bitch to fit. They are the most popular in the states where BRPs have a cult following.

$200 US + postage for Bullet Proof Designs Rad guards…… bit steep!!

They’re actually Blais guards, $189 from their own site:
