New to OB’s, new to forums, new to Wauchope area.

Moved from Alice Springs earlier this year as a bit of a sea change. Am slowly getting used to being politically correct, not swearing and drinking slower…

Had a 10+ year hiatus of not riding but never lost the passion (Finke keeps you nostalgic if somewhat fearful). Been back on for 18 months and riding a rather sensible TTR250.

Being a big fellow on a small bike I am a bit of a plodder but can go most places locally. Enjoying the local forest, but what is it with all the trees? Easy to get lost. At least in Alice you just had to look for a range and head towards it.

Anyways, maybe I’ll catch some of the local mob around the traps.

    Welcome to the site mate.
There are plenty of rides around your area and if you a willing to travel 2 hours in either direction you will find a lot more great terrain and Old Bulls who are keen to show you around.

    Welcome mate
Like King STM plenty of rides going on, (maybe not as many now it is Summer)
You might be used to the heat from the centre but I’m sure the humidity will knock ya around a bit.
There are rides at Wauchope and North a bit and we have plenty of rides down our way (Newcastle)
Hope to see ya on one soon
    Cheers
