hi all ive been off a 2 wheeler for a whyle and just bought a wr250 smoker to get my hand back in. mylast bike was a 92 rmx 250 and before that an 81 it 175 (still got er but she gives all the slowpokes cancer)then sorta had to give em up for a whyle then i got the kids a quad then the misses a quad so i got myself a banshi to round em up with. but i missed the trails so thought id dive back in. so i found this 92wr its a bit old but super well maintained and goes as hard as my old rmx did new so im pretty happy with it for the moment. im from yerrinbool near bowral nsw

If you post up your going for a ride I reckon you will get a couple maybe, I would be keen if I have nothing on mate. Just a cruise and explore would be real nice.

well from the trails ive sussed out again in the last couple of weeks you could easly blow a good day of riding and not backtrack plenty of fire trails and lots of tricky bushwalking/firebreak tracks then heaps of mineing roads with lots af jumps and motorcross pits along the way not to sure on the legalitys of some of it tho and then theres the trails behind mittagong that go on for days if a 10 min squrt on some back roads dont bother you i will do a couple more exploring rides then see what we can work out theres definatly some good enduro tracks between yerrinbool/bargo/tahmore that ive already sussed out good fun

G’day bns454… And welcome to the site.

I grew up around your way! tahmoor, picton , bargo… I wasn’t into riding back in those days, Wish I were though!

I have wondered what the riding would be like down that way for some time, So If you post a ride up one day I would most certainly be interested!!

    cheers justo

yep wouldent advise someone to do it solo with out knowing where to go if you had to head for the hills but the state forest sections are ok. waterboards a definate no no but its ok when the weathers cold(no one in the fire spotting towers)helps if u have a key(wink wink) if u have to bug out too but u can ride to the escarpment over looking wollongong or ride thru to fitzroy falls/kangaroo vally me and the misses did it on the quads last month
