Well while everyone was having fun out the back of Bourke we headed for Gingers Creek for my brothers B/Day. We have been here 3 times now and it is just alsome.
Landing at the campsite Thursday night sore us of early Friday morning armed with 2 foldup tree saws ( best $12 ever spent). Well did they get used, trees and crap down all over the place. Wasnt too bad untill near the end of the 80km loop we had planed out.
With a detour because of a trail closed due to a washed out section and trees down for as far as the eye could see (50 odd meters) and the sun starting to disapear we headed to what we thought was a quick way out. Not to be, 2km of 4wd road had trees down evey 100m. Dam, so we went around, over, under and through them for about 2 hours of wish I wasnt here now.
As we got out of that mess and was headed down the road to the campsite we stopped to talk to a mate that had not told us that he was comming. He had dropped the bike of at the campsite and was headed to Coffs but would be back in the morning. That seemed to make me at least forget about what we had just came through.
So a feed and a couple of drinks was now on the to do list.
So with the 3rd rider now back from coffs and a trail that was now open we headed off for the best part of the day. Well the trails up here are just awsome and we had a ball no offf’s just a good fun ride. Being jason’s first time up here I think he had the most fun.
A sample of the fun we had.
