Well while everyone was having fun out the back of Bourke we headed for Gingers Creek for my brothers B/Day. We have been here 3 times now and it is just alsome.

Landing at the campsite Thursday night sore us of early Friday morning armed with 2 foldup tree saws ( best $12 ever spent). Well did they get used, trees and crap down all over the place. Wasnt too bad untill near the end of the 80km loop we had planed out.

With a detour because of a trail closed due to a washed out section and trees down for as far as the eye could see (50 odd meters) and the sun starting to disapear we headed to what we thought was a quick way out. Not to be, 2km of 4wd road had trees down evey 100m. Dam, so we went around, over, under and through them for about 2 hours of wish I wasnt here now.

As we got out of that mess and was headed down the road to the campsite we stopped to talk to a mate that had not told us that he was comming. He had dropped the bike of at the campsite and was headed to Coffs but would be back in the morning. That seemed to make me at least forget about what we had just came through.

So a feed and a couple of drinks was now on the to do list.

So with the 3rd rider now back from coffs and a trail that was now open we headed off for the best part of the day. Well the trails up here are just awsome and we had a ball no offf’s just a good fun ride. Being jason’s first time up here I think he had the most fun.

A sample of the fun we had. :P

They have had the dosser down some of the trails because of the fires that were up there around xmas time.

good Video Doze. It certainly is some of the best riding up in the Cells. Did you stay at Gingers Creek or down at Maxwells Flat?

Were you guys headed into Tamworth on Monday morning at about 10 or 11am?

    Hi Mick
We stayed at Maxwell’s Flat. Left up there about 12ish on Monday. Past some of you guys comming back from Bourke on the east side of Walcha.

Inner loop is were the trail stops (washed out & trees down) and Blue mt creek road needs the loggers down it.

There was a few others up there but never seen them or their marks on the trails.

That looks like Kokoda that runs off just to the south of maxwell flat camp grounds. That is normal. Boony loves it because he can have a rest off his bike every ten meters. :woohoo: The rest of it are the best trails ever. Love the video.
