Quote:I also have a pair of shift gloves that I have had since the 4 day in 2006 and haven’t a hole or torn stitching. Most of the cheaper gloves I have tried have fallen apart fairly quickly from experience. The shift ones are the best I have used IMO. None of my gloves have the knunkle protection things though as I dont like it.TB
+1 for the shift gloves. Mine are very good, between them and the Thor gloves they are the best I’ve used (had 6 different pairs). The Fox dirtpaws weren’t bad but I had a light off and burnt through the palm.
I was wearing the Shift gloves when I slid down the tar at the front of the 4 day and they all but saved my hands. Burnt a few holes in them but between my watch and my gloves I had hardly any cuts on my hand/wrist.

Spot on Blue.
I have just purchased a new set off kevlar knuckled gloves, riding pants and jersey for $158.90,with free postage and handling :cheer:
I emailed Mark the other day and his sectretary emailed me back with all the information i required as Mark was out riding  …Good on him i say…must have been out testing some of his gear !!!!
They are a pleasure to deal with and their gear is good quality.
I would rather be riding around in gear that i have confidence in.
Don’t get me wrong ,there is alot of good gear out there with a good brand name to it,but there is also a fair bit of riding gear with a flashy brand attached to it that is crap at twice the price :ohmy:I’m gonna look sooooo sexy all dressed in white….Holy even !!!!
Bol :woohoo:
Mark through in 2 other pairs of gloves for nothing!!!!!!!!!how cool is that?? :cheer:
i will do a model shoot for you guys in the next few days….sooooooooo sexy

May 3, 2010 at 11:05 am #143367Boony you did say $100 that is a hell of a lot of gear for that price i must ask is it stolen or very suspect quality. If that only costs that much see if they will throw in a bike for another $200

Quote:Ok recieved my new Bullpitt Kevlar reoed gloves today, the size and colour i was after wasn’t availiable so mark from Bullpitt offered me a brand new improved design for the same money if i was prepared to wait for a fortnite….obviously i said yes. Now he has emailed me every few days to make sure i knew what was going on (excellent PR and customer service) and emailed me once he had dispatched them.
Opened the packet ten minutes ago and first impressions were.
Quality= ++++ best stitched and put together glove i have ever had.
Fit= got the L, could’ve got the XL, bit firm but again i know they will stretch as I wear them in.
Comfort= Top notch the knuckle protectors are a tad hard, but i have only ever had thin plastic or thick leather ones before, they took a few minutes to get used to.Materials= seem like all good quality, twin layers or some sort of space-tech stuff on the top to just behind your knuckles that leave a stretch area as you clench your fist, inner thumb reo, palm reo finger protection pads and good broad velcro tabs to do up and they actually come up past your wrist alittle unlike most off-road gloves.
All in all so far it appears my punt has paid off, as they look and feel like “lifetime” gloves like my roadie gloves have been, excellent value at $30-$40, and an Aussie manufacturer at that let’s see how they go in the bush…..

I got a pair of the Kevlar gloves delivered this morning. Bloody typical that I would have them show up on a Monday! Still, as Blue pointed out, the fit is beautiful, the price was good, service excellent and the quality seems bang on.
Can’t wait to give them a go!
