Go to the bloody physio!
That’s what my better half said after i had been carrying on like a big girl’s blouse.
After a bit of a lie down at the Christmas ride at Nundle my shoulder was playing up (read hurting like hell). :pinch:
As i have fallen off more times than i can count i thought it would right itself soon enough.
Well 3 months later and one trip to the doctor and it was getting no better, so i took my wifes advice.
Turns out i had damaged the rotator cup, damaged some ligaments and done something else to something else both with long latin sounding names.
But best of all i now had a frozen shoulder.
The physio suggested this could take anyhwere between 3 to 9 months to rectify depending on the severity.
So i have had 3 months of physio to get it right and all this time i have been off the bike.
Its all good now i got the Ok to ride this week.
So what’s the moral of this story?
If i had gone to the physio when i was told my recovery would have been quicker and i would not have experienced the joys of a frozen shoulder.
Also i wouldn’t have missed the cancelled Birthday ride.
So we’re all getting older, don’t think you’ll repair the way you used to.
Rebore.
