    How’s this.

Michelle knew that I was going on holidays (well duh!) and knew that I would want to be riding a fair bit and maybe even to enjoy an overnighter or two. So, what does she do?

She bought me a little present.

Now, all I have to do is make sure I have the damn thing mounted properly (looks ok so far) and yeehaa.

Oh yeah, not all family members were as enthusiastic.

Oo I hate that, Mines been ok about it lately.. Actually I’ve been thinking about getting a new car. She said she would rather me buy a new bike :woohoo: … But I can’t do it…. (I think it’s a trap)

    Yep, quite lucky.

When I was road riding she would come looking and help me buy the bike even though she will never get on the back (has seen me wear through boots to quick). He argument with coming along was that she had put up with me whinging for so long about what I wanted in a bike and what I wanted it to do that this way I wouldn’t impulse buy something that I ended up not liking.

And I have to say it worked as the only bike I did buy on impulse turned out to be a piece of shit.

Then, when I started on the dirt she encouraged me to buy teh Weestrom as it was still very raod worthy if I didn’t enjoy the dirt.

Then (yep it gets better) she encouraged me to sell it and buy a lighter bike given the places I was getting the Weestrom.

And finally, when I found the DR she simply said right, get it and went to the bank for a cheque.

No, she is not for sale.

If my misses bought me a rack for the my bike to put my bags on I would worry she was trying to tell me something, ;)
