    Howdy all
Bought a set of goggles a couple of months ago. I was totally happy with the fit in the shop but after trying them in my helmet I was a little dissapointed:( Not only did they not fit the hat (couldn’t breathe through the nose) they also started to fall apart (padding coming away from the frame) I paid good money for this important piece of equipment and am not happy;) In future I will take my helmet in to have my goggles fit to it and my head:side:
    Just a thought
    Cheers:cheer:

I bought a pair of Scott goggles from Southlakes M/C and the foam started coming away so I took them back and they just replaced them – no problem for them. The replacement goggles I am still using without a prob. – just replace the lenses when they are too scratched.

It was also a pair of Scott goggles that I have, had troubles with:ohmy: I did persavere (spelling ??) with them for too long. Probably too late to return them now. Will not make that mistake again:angry:

    Murph,
Gotta keep the missus happy and I’ve sold my GS1150 which is being picked up on Sat. morning. Lotsa and I are heading to Hampton pub late Sat. to attend the Hampton ride on Sunday. Should be a good ride. Will catch up again soon.

I noticed on the weekend that the padding on my scott goggles is coming apart after only probably 6 months of pretty gentle care.

Scott have had this issue on and off for 30 years, i refuse to buy them anymore after i forked out a motza for some early Turbo-goggles and the foam disintegrated within months and the scungy dealer refused to even look at them.

Oakley or thor all way for my goggles now, get an excellent run out of Oakley and they have excellent feild of vision, good nose protectors (and believe me i need it) and a huge range of lense’.

I bought a pair of Scott voltage pro air goggles which i love. After a muddy ride a month ago i decided to soak them in a bucket of warm water,i went out the next morning to find the bucket had a small amount of kero in the bottom and my lenses were ruined.after a couple of weeks of sulking i was very relieved to find out i could buy a new lense for the grand total of $15,and to think i nearly through them out.

I like the light blue lens in sunny days, helps me see whats in the dark shadows better.
