Well after signing up for the Cameron ride I thought I would invest in some Goggleman prescription goggles. I phoned up John carbury at Otway Optical in Colac, Johns an optician that rides bikes and he was very helpful and as he promised my new goggle lenses arrived bang on five days from placing my order.
After riding with them for six days in all conditions including dust and heavy rain I can say that I am very impressed with them and it was really great to always see where I was going.

I would highly recommend this product to all that have to wear glasses and know what a pain that can be out on the trails. I will over the next few months be able to say how they stand the test of time.
For those interested the contact details: otway optical John 03 5231 4075
    The cost is $185.00
I hope to get two or three years out of them, I will let you know how I go.

Did you find they took much to get used too? I’v got a pair and just feel like a duck out of water wearing them, at night I find lights reflect all over the place inside your goggles which is a bit unsettling.

Hi badbowie, I have not used them at night yet, but can see how they might reflect light.
The Cameron ride was my first time wearing them and I found they worked really well, after wearing them for six days straight I would not like to ride without them now.

I have seen a set up for a gas mask and it looks similar do those lugs on the top just slot into the gap in the foam inside your helmet?

Yes they slot into the top of the goggles just below the foam.
