I parted ways with the klx some time ago,
I thought something lighter may have assisted with the poor body keeping up with the mind,
bought a 250sx pumpkin just for fun well……. that didnt work too well either
Been looking around for something that i can get away with the missus on (not get away from the missus)…that should score me some points ey 😆

The main need is to sit upright unlike most roadies & im not too keen on adventuras the only thing i can see that i have a liking to is the Ducati Hypermotard but- woah $$$$
going onto open licence so size wont matter too much but still need to be able to pick it up, not that id want to drop something like that. And still want fatbars
any ideas?

was going to motard the klx and i wish i still had it- all that work for a bogan to run it dry of oil + overtighten the rocker cover and crack the head(wasnt impressed but not my problem)
saw the DRZ motards listed here and was going to start,

went to have the back op- but Doc says too far gone ,
i guess i’ll just keep going until i run dry !

Have you looked at the Yamaha FZ1 Fazer. They are a middle weight sports tourer with a detuned version of the R1 motor.

They have an upright bars mounted to the top triple clamp rather than clip on’s making it easy to adjust bars to suit your riding position.

They also have a decent pillion seat and earlier models go for a modest price.
