fellas, theres a moto accessories warehouse down here called AMX. they are having thier annual 99dollar sale. im goin to look at some armour for sammy. (better to keep her safe, nothing worse than a wounded wife:laugh: :laugh: )

im gonna get some new gloves too as i found out last ride that touching your expansion chamber while hot is not a smart idea!!

im also looking at getting a winter jacket.

so, what is the best one.

what does everyone else wear/recommend??

i want an orange one, not to match the kato, but to help search and rescue next time i get lost:laugh:

Dunno what`s the best one Menace, I have the Scott SanDiego jacket I won at the XMAS PARTY last year:) It`s pretty good but probably not warm enough for a WINTER jacket in Mexico:silly:

I got mine off ebay, its that stuff they advertise as down hill /motor cross armour. it works good,
does that store have a dogalog or a web site????

dunno about a website etc….

but it is pretty sh!t. there were a few bargain bins out the front with crap that wont fit my masculine stature…LOL

everything else was the same price as any shop.

im just gonna buy sam the alpine stars “booby” armour tomorra and hunt around for jackets.

Dri rider jacket off road with accessory kit, then you have two different removable liners etc

I like mine, Crash and Chicken also have them

I use one of the first Dririder rallycross jackets. I find it warm enough for our winters with the standard liner in. Not sure if it comes in hi viz orange though. The new ones have zip out sleaves for when the ride warms up.
