For those that are after one a bloke on another site has organised a group buy on scissor lift stands. I couldn’t see any on our sponsors site so I’m going to try and get onto it. Price is $195+$25 postage anywhere in Australia.
Here’s a video
If you’re interested in joining in on the deal PM me and I will pass on the details.

November 2, 2009 at 1:12 am #159010Just on the scissor lift thing, I just sold three of them through Sutto’s for the same price of $195 not 2 mins ago. This is through one of our site sponsors if you would rather go that way its up to you, breeds good competition AB (good job)
All 3 have gone to Wauchope area, if you would like to get one ring 47379566 and ask for Mal, tell him Greg sent you
TB
PS if anyone in the Newcastle area wants one I will be going up there in 11 days time and will deliver it to a central pick up for for $0
November 2, 2009 at 1:34 am #159024Well done Mal and TB. To put it in perspective I believe the group buy was for a lot more than 3 stands so to offer that price on a smaller order is great work. Are they the same stands TB? I do believe they’re made in china but by all reports they’re a good thing.
I might take you up on that delivery deal TB but I can’t let you do it for free so let me know if you’d like a sixxer of bundy rather than having me paying a courier similar $$.
November 2, 2009 at 1:42 am #159028I be am sure they are, speak with Mal and organise it no probs mate

November 2, 2009 at 2:41 am #159030How stable are they up that high mick?
I’d like to try and mount some lockable casters on the base so that I could move the bike around once it was up since my shed isn’t as roomy as the one pictured.
November 2, 2009 at 2:49 am #159049THey are more stable than they look. WE pulled the engine out and refitted it at that height with out a drama at all.

November 3, 2009 at 10:42 am #159192I was down there today and picked up scissor lifts for Crash and AustBlue, whilst there I noticed one with a KTM 300 on it in the showroom and was impressed with the quality and workmanship of the stands. I also noticed that they had them in the workshop being used by the mechanics so they must be OK as they are used all the time
They are reduced from $230 to $195
