Circlip is good. Leant a good trick with circlips during the week, as they are punched out, there is a sharp side and a rounded side. The sharp side goes to the outside against the load as opposed against the sprocket (which I was inclined to do  ) Spose you all knew that. I had never given it a thought. I am still running the old chain, it is free of any kinks and looks OK. I will be replacing the whole kit and kaboodle soon when finances allow. As you know I have another debt to settle before anymore money gets spent on the kids bikes.

At least you gave it a good go over it makes me shutter thinging about it

October 2, 2010 at 9:10 pm #188252Morning Mick.
Morning all.
Anyone late for work this morning?
October 2, 2010 at 9:14 pm #188268Morning Mal, Yep just got a call from a confused Tripper on his way to work. “My car clock says 7.00, but my phone says 8.00 what the hell is going on??” That is why we call him Tripper. He had no idea DLS started last night.
It has been pissing down up here, how is down your way Mal?.
October 2, 2010 at 9:47 pm #188270:laugh:
Yep I’ve turned up to work 1 hour late twice in the last ten years.
Light rain since yesterday lunch time apparently. Still raining this morning and coldish (10 degrees).
Once at work I only have a dodgy (nearly black and white) 20inch monitor of the outside world pointing at the sky.
