I came off in the first couple of Km’s going back looking for someone who didn’t make it up the hill.A green stick took out my front wheel going down hill and I took a bit of a tumble. At about the 11km mark Connor had a huge highside off and hurt his leg and that pretty well put an end to the ride , as it was raining that hard we couldn’t see.

Well just got a phone call from the Mayor as his floating RSL was coming down the Brisbane river. I could hear Captain Merrill Stubing in the back ground :laugh: Anyways we were enjoying a catch up chat when he goes ” I got to go ” in such a way as I thought the boat was sinking :blink: last words from him as he hung up were ” Lisa is giving me the look” and was gone :laugh:

They had to be of the ship shortly and by all accounts he had a great time. They are heading north of Brisbane today for 4 days and if I know the Mayor he will be back on line later today no doubt
