AnonymousThe bike looks real good Kylie, it cleaned up very well after your wash, when your new rims and bling hubs turn up it start to look mean.
I love the picture that Scotty posted up, looks real mean for a narny
September 13, 2009 at 7:53 am #152314Welcome to the DRZ family Kylie. You’ll find it will do everything you want and expect with more.
Just wish all these other crusty demon wannabees would wake up to themselves and go yellow.

September 13, 2009 at 8:38 am #152436Congrats on the new bike Kylie.
Are you going to use the DRZ for the bush and road or just a road bike?
When you get the motard set up we’ll have to organise a track day at Oran Park raceway. It’s a good fun day out.

AnonymousKylie’s latest plan was a motard road only DRZ with the WR-R for the bush but we don’t know what bike she’ll have next week

Ballards have nice wheel kits for the motard setup, just choose the colour you want.
ThumperTalk.com for heaps more other stuff. One thing I do recomend is a manual cam chain tensioner to replace the auto one that’s probably still on it, the auto ones tend to stretch the chain prematurely.
I am pretty sure you can get the workshop manual on CD at FleaBay for a good price.
September 13, 2009 at 9:45 am #152315Yep, Lets all move on now

September 13, 2009 at 9:54 am #152345Good to see you found your DRZ Kylie. Its funny how the right bike often comes to us!! After your trip to Coff’s and here is this one with your name all over it.
I look forward to the build over the next few months. I have a workshop manual on CD that you can have and i will get you a manual cam chain tensioner if you want one.
See you at louee :woohoo:September 13, 2009 at 10:01 am #152462
AnonymousAs always Boulder you are a gentleman. I would say we will be calling you in the upcoming months to get your advice with the DRZ. We will need to get a manual adjuster for it as it is still fitted with the auto one. A copy of your manual would be great.
We were definately lucky to get this one and especially after our drive to Coffs last week  I told Kylie that if a bike wasn’t in a 100KM radius of home she could forget it, she came through with this one
September 13, 2009 at 10:04 am #152317And at Cardiff

BUT
Didn’t you want that apprentice to have his OBT membership cancelled for no other reason except he was one of your apprentices and didn’t feel that he should be here?
That is all from me and I will no longer be posting anything on this thread that is not DRZ related.

Menace, Louee is still 12 days away. Kylie will probably have a new bike by then  and the DRZ project will be forgotton about. That why the Sutto’s ride day at Louee concerns me so much with Kylie. She will want a 570 Burg as well :S
