Thanks to Mal at Sutto’s, my GoPro was delivered overnight from Penrith to Geelong, Vic, overnight.:)

For those that have used these before I’m after some tips on use i.e best positioning of it on helmet, on he side or top?

Cant wait to use it this weekend and catch some Vicco’s in action.

    Cheers

That’s a good price jak, I bought mine directly from the States a few weeks ago for $311 with the grab bag of mounts. I mounted mine on top of my helmet for the moment just so I could try it out but when I get back I want to mount it under the helmet peak. most of the mounts are too long but I am going to use the one from in the box itself as it is shorter than the others. I might make up a handle bar mount as well.

I had a mount on the headlight shroud of the 250. Great in the single trail but absolutely crap on the more open stuff, too much vibration. I have mine mounted on the peak of my helmet which I have good results from. Just remember when you put it on your helmet that if it looks right as far as angle goes, push it up another couple of degrees otherwise all that you will film is your hands and front gaurd. Also remember that it is there when you go under low branches etc, I learnt the hard way:blush:

Yeah sorry that’s all I’ve got but I’ll try to remember to get a pic tonight. Its just mounted upside down under the visor peak so not much to see I think.

I was playing around with the camera today on a ride and edited a small video of just under 7 minutes. It came out at 280 meg. Is that right if i want to put it on youtube? or do i need to convert/format it to something smaller?

    Cheers
