Yeah Eagle that was the ride that undone me (probably because it was so wet and I couldn’t see). But I got the OK by the Doctor today to start riding again so I couldn’t be happier. I will have to have surgery on my spine but he said just keep going until the pain get’s too bad to bear. The surgery that I need to have will mean some downtime of riding but after it’s done he said that I will be able to ride no problem.

    Couldn’t be happier today. :)

Yeah probably didn’t help that you ran over me on that ride

Just kidding that was my own stupid fault and it was just soooo funny.

Nah the specialist said that the disk concerned was just going to keep on degenerating and nothing would stop it. Hence why I can keep riding because he reckons I’ll need the surgery anyway so I may as well do what I want in the meantime. It’s not bad surgery. I only need 1 month off work to recover and I will be able to do everything as per normal once I have fully recovered (i.e. bike riding). And I still might have another year before I need the surgery anyway. I always look on the bright side of things.

    Geez,
What a difference a few weeks without rain makes to the trails out there,,
I went for a bit of a blat this arvo after work and took in some of the trails we did around the westy to Killy area & back!!!

Hardpacked & dry as a bone now, I think it was better when they were wet & greasy
Those big erosion mounds along the back trail are a heap of fun in the dry though

I also did a few little backtrack single trails between here, Cameron Park etc on the way to Westy, bit of a clear the head run is good once a week I reckon, I might just do that from now on ;) ;) ;)

:woohoo: Just realised that I will be able to do some of theses trails on the way home in the New Year. I think I will hit them a couple of days a week, maybe 3 days a week ;) That`ll be sweet!!!

NOthing like a quick run in the arvo when the weather is good for riding 😆
