ok Boony as far as i can see, if you like someone’s post you click on the green thumbs up,

in the top right of their post.

if you click on the green it adds 1 karma point to their score. if you click the red thumbs down it takes away 1 karma point.

i doubt it is something you can accidentally get wrong, unless you have double vision or are colour blind, vision impaired etc etc.

don’t fret Boony, giving someone heaps is not going to affect their karma count.

it is only changed when someone clicks on the karma buttons.

and most say “karma to you for that”. like menace did for me in a post, he liked a quote i used.

Dave IM good mate a bit tired though, I drove 550 kms today just to pickup a head,barrel and linkage for the boys Husky,cost me $20 for the parts on Ebay. My karma has still gone down by over 25 since I warned people the last time. I’m not massively bothered but after reading the posts above about how it is given and takne away it does seem to counter the Old Bull spirit especially if you don’t have the nuts to fess up.

The above scenario is highly unlikely, because Moto could live to 300 yrs old and post intelligent well scripted posts every hour on the hour and still not get that much recognition, probably even if he went back to suggestively gyrating in front of hordes of suspectable teen and pre-teenage girls while lip-syncing to some inane claptrap he still wouldn’t….. more probably someone has had a fiddle

Yes, mine and TB’s karma has gone up overnight Although shortly it will be 340001 less than it is now.

It seems as though the karma system has become a bit of a joke or someones evil idea of fun, if it’s not going to be treated seriously then we will just remove the Karma system altogether, it seemed to be working fine for all but the last couple of weeks, it’s a shame it only takes 1 or 2 people to fuck things up for everyone else. As usual the minority fucks it for the majority. Moto/TB/Mick deserve every bit of karma they have recieved because without them we wouldn’t have a site, I know I certainly don’t have the time anymore to read every single post and make intelligent comments on them all. I really don’t believe in pointing fingers, even if I do look in the DB to see who has been removing karma, which BTW I am not going to because I have better things to do. The Karma system should be treated as it is intended, if you remove Karma let the person know why, even if it’s via PM.

BTW I think this is my 1000th post, can I have karma for that.
