I got a brand new Zumo 660 in may, it died on the first use, first nav ride at lithgow. Sent it back to garmin and 5 weeks later my brand new unit was replaced ….. with second hand refurb. Miffed because if I wanted second hand I could have just gone to Ebay to start with.

Anyway, got over that and mounted the new(ish) unit on triumph, less than a day and it shit itself, just turns off constantly. Not happy, different unit, different problem. Tried diff battery, tried reseting to defaults with the two finger power button trick and no luck.

Rang garmin and told them they can shove it and am waiting to hear back on a refund.

Question for the floor. Excluding the 660 (which i really like from a features point of view) has anybody who has owned a few units have any recommendations? TB, it seems if a GPS is going to be problem for you when loading routes, its usually a 660. What are you using?
