OK, Day 5. First two days I did with the patches. The last two days I have done cold turkey and will go patchless again today. I dont think the patches make one knob of goat shit difference.

The big test was yesterday arvo when I stopped at Tripper’s shed for a couple of beers and I was the only person there not smoking.

Tonight in my shed may be interesting though. It is a smoke free zone as of now.

Thats awesome Mick… Once you hit day 6 is goes a lot easier… Just wait until about day 10 as certain tastes will seem strange and you may even realize some new ones.. I’m coming up on 21 days.. I have finally stopped hacking up morning flem..

Hey Mick I reckon that would be the hardest part….tryin not to have smoke when everyone else is puffin away and havin a beer.
My mum has been puffin for over 50 years and shes tried a few times to give it up but her hubby keeps smokin and she always caves in and starts up again. Shes 72 and has a wicked cough and wished she’d never started when she was young. cheers mate..dusty.

When it comes to durries everyone can tell you a story of someone who has something wrong with there health because of the durries the government make a heap of cash taxing it to the max and the hospitals are full of sick people because of the evil durries its all bad mick and try and stay away from other smokers for now :unsure:
