Well I headed out to my my local grounds to day, feeling a bit lonely cose my last couple of rides have been with budies for a change, lots of fun and some laughs, and got to explore some new tracks/singles.
Any way I thought that I’d just do the usual loop, keep the hand in and work on that much needed fitness,it’s been just on a year since I broke my leg and I’m starting feel comfortable riding again.
I thought as this is mostly about fitness today,I’l take as many singles as I can manage, cos usualy I dont last too long on em before I’m looking for an out,cos I’m knackered.
Well I was doing ok crewsing through pretty tight singles, all native bushland and the rain had filled up most of the ruts,so I was having fun with it,I got to the end of the first one feeling pretty good,so I started to explore a couple of others that I had never finished,,,,still feeling pretty good and now having fun on my own :woohoo: I came to a track that I had always borked at,,cos it drops down into a creek vally that I know has some knarly sand stone sections down there.I had alway intended to look in there if I had company.
So I pointed the 310 in ,and down I went, always looking for the point where I would turn back, but as I went, I kept thinking “yep I could ride up this”and pressed on,It ran into a tight steep in places single, followed a small creek before heading back up the other side through some nasty looking rocks, hevely wooded,so no chicken track.
Now on the old RMX I would not have tackles this sort of thing,in fear of stalling it,,,major dramer for me usualy  Well I did stall the 310 right there to day,but it was no big deal at all, pulled in the clutch ,,hit the button, had the legs out and up I went,,the little 310 did it eazy, :woohoo: Well that led me through some more realy great single track and some more great forest,,feeling good but a bit shaged by now.
The swimming and a bit of riding the pushy must finerly be paying of,cose today I rode more single track than I ever have, and it was lots of fun. Although I’m feeling pretty knackered now,but pretty happy with myself toboot.
    Cheers Teza.

better look out teza that single track is addictive and not politicaly correct from what i here but great fun and once you get adicted other forms of riding just don t do it for you except an occasional mx track

Yeh! I’m still buzzin from that ride today, conditions are great out there, but the best part is that some of the singles that I dscovered cut out a fair bit of fire trail in my regular loop,,,making it even more interesting, with a few more K’s throw’n in as well.. B)

Great stuff Teza, never easy to come back from that level of injury but is an awesome feeling when the mojo does start to return, no matter how slow it may return.

    Keep it going and enjoy

Have to admit, the tight single stuff is addictive ……………… even when on a bit of a land barge :)
