Had a small off

I decided to run the DR into a tree…..well at least the tree stopped me going off the edge.

Take one DR

Take one novice rider…this is my 5th ride

Take one tree…look at the drop and the damage

Take some speed and a lot of lack of skills ends up with this

Everything turned out fine…nothing broken on me or the bike :laugh: had a laugh and then toook it a bit easy for the rest of the ride :pinch:

Lucky break there NZ! I can just picture the DR end for ending down that hill. You’d need more than a few strong men to retrieve her from there! Good to hear it ended well.

A young bloke out this way on private property hit head on with a tree a month ago. He is no longer with us. Always look past the tree not right at it…

good on you for posting that! Everyone does it just not many admit to it

Beware the 5th ride I say. I snapped the top of my finger clean backwards on my 5th ride (wrapped it backwards around the clutch lever).
