DrD taken the high line.

SB-250y and co. follows suit

The small rut was the more popular line.

I think this was Gotcha looking happy with his choice of ride.

DrD took it for a ride and was very impressed with the rear suspension.

Graig H’s ride with us was short but impressive.

August 11, 2009 at 11:28 am #147859Great day out form the sweeps point of view. Everyone maintained a nice pace and there wasn’t a lot of dust until we hit the more open tracks.
Thanks to DrD for organising the day with a BBQ lunch. Shane_VOR for coming up and cooking for us. Medogrocket for sweeping in the arvo and playing games on the tracks with me again.Special mention to Lipton. We helped him up the first hill which he got 90% up and hit the wall so to speak. Having a rest at the top he said to me that this is his second ride ever  . riding a CRF450 on a grade 3 ride is a great effort. And with a few pointers here and there and lots of encouragement he inproved through out the day. Top effort Lipton thanks for coming along. The Old Bull spirit was in full swing all day.
Here’s a couple of vids of a down hill section.
August 11, 2009 at 11:24 pm #147666Thanks guys that was a very good day! thanks for all the pointers & helping me out when I was on my back trapped on a stump with my 450 on my leg! hope we do that ride again soon. Thanks DR D, very well run day.

MickAugust 12, 2009 at 1:49 am #147931Hi all
Thank you for letting me join in – rightly albeit briefly. It was great to meet you all and good to say gday over lunch rather than saying gday over a broken leg. Aidan also passes on his regards – he could not get along as he was preparing for his two week holiday in Ireland – like you I am geussing that means he was drinking instead of driving on Sunday.Anyway a few points:
– whilst only with you a little while I surprised myself how well I managed to hang on [bit of luck there]
– I had trouble finding the meeting spot hence being a few mins late – sorry about that
– I had a fun ride home – I rode down some dirt roads to Portes Retreat then on to Goulbourn road – then Wombeyan Caves turn off – then out to Mittagong via Caves and then home – southern suburbs of Syd – 450klms plus day – that took a little longer than I expectedKnow I cant join in most of your rides but hopefully I will be able to find a way to join some in on some of your catch ups…
Go well
Craig
