I have a machete cable tied to my muffler, easy on easy off, works a treat and no it doesn’t fall off

Good idea Storky ,, Doesn`t get quite hot enough to melt the handle obviously ???

I had some things to do this morning, so happened to call into Bunnings for a gander & sausage sanga
Picked up the last one of the Bahco pruning saws that GavB posted a pic of for $28.
Nice and light, positive lock on closed position and super sharp and can live in my camelback ;)

Thanx for the heads up TB

I use one the same as your picture TB, it works well and I have cut up to about a 3″ branch with it.

I think it will outlast me as Bahco make some damn good quality tools from what I have seen in the past ;)

Bunnings also had a couple of cheaper ones starting arouns $12 but I thought I wouldn`t want it to snap first time I need it

My Bahco is the orange handled one TR not exactly the same as the one in Gav`s link .

    Cheers

    Just ride over the tree.

We all use a small folding saw from bunnings. Adam has the ducks guts in saws. Got us out of trouble at cells

Ive found pruning saws to be a lot better than ordinary wood saws, you want the longest fold up you can get so you can also use it like a machete in the lantana, I also invested in an ozito mini chain saw from Bunnunings it was only $100 and its unreal, cuts massive trees fits in a backpack and weighs stuff all.

Hand held saws are a good item to take, what do you recommend for this little ” twig “?
