Fitted my plastic handgaurds that I was given with the bike from new the other day to my crf450x 2005 model…and have now discovered that they completly obstruct getting to the suspension clickers. Anyone else come accross this problem? :ohmy:

chuck em in the bin and get a set of Barkbusters, is the best advise I have to offer.

yeah but they were free…so will use them until they break…..then get bb…I think

Only thing Texas is when they break they will probably allow something else to get broken including you IMO

Funny thing I have always had handgaurds on all my bikes….when I got this on in 05….I just kind of left it and up until now only just put them on….so I have had a pretty good run with only one broken brake lever…..so thought wont test my luke and now I cant even get a screw driver even close

Thanks Muccy,

But I want to get my pound of flesh out of these first…..but cant understand why no one else has not come upon this prob…surly there are others out there that have these fitted as well…I mean they came with the bike as part of the freebies you get..
