I`m hearing ya Kylie,
I`d like to take the Jayco Eagle as well but then I can`t take a bike
We`ll be fine, we are OLD BULLS:PApril 23, 2009 at 9:56 am #130065OK, CAMP SITES ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE WEEKEND AT THE PARK,
I told the dude we may need up to 10??? A mix of powered & unpowered sites (incase some people want power)
I need to ring him back in the next fortnight (6th May) to book and guarantee our spots ,BUT,
If anyone wants an onsite van or cabin, there are limited numbers of these, so I recommend that you give them a call & book one for yourself prior to avoid dissapointment;) The onsite cabins are not real close to the other facilities or campsites though (100m or so)The camp sites are really close to the showers & camp kitchen amenities, so it should be fine even if it`s cold (it will be cold) but the showers will warm us up:lol:
Please get on & post if you are keen for this trip & your preference for powered or unpowered camp site within the next fortnight, or sooner:)

Just backing up eagle and rang the caravan park, I have booked 10 powered sites at a cost of $22.00 per site, these sites are close to a fire pit with seats surrounding so we can chat about how good we were on the ride also close to camp kitchen and ammenities etc,
The lady has even said that we can probably have a late check out so we can pack our camps and go for the sunday ride and not worry about where our vehicles are parked,I told her some of yous are travelling a fair way and she was more than obliging. For those who wanted a cabin, bad luck some quilting club has booked them. so its camp or bust.
If you wish to contact the park and disuss our arrangments please mention that you are with the old bulls trail riders and they will know the sites we are talking about. Should someone wish to come up on the friday let me know as I will camp there friday as well.
Cheers
Boony:)April 24, 2009 at 5:42 am #130449Nice work Boony, I will be coming but I don’t think I will be camping. My other half is coming and wants a bit more luxury if I am going to leave her all day while we’re out riding, I will know for sure early next week.
April 24, 2009 at 6:02 am #129380Nice work Boony,
I hope we can fill all 10 sites;) That would be a great turnout for the weekond. Good move on the late checkout too, I was thinking about that aspect yeaterday, I would have even booked another night to be able to pack up later in the day:laugh:Come on OLD BULLS,,,, get ya name down for this ride:)

The Jayco is a big bastard & a bit of an arse pain for one night stay, but, I will see what pans out closer to the date man:unsure:
Would be a comfy, warmer option for the night for sureApril 24, 2009 at 8:08 am #130453Trailboss wrote:

If the Ulysses guys are staying there it will be packed:huh:I had to book to get a table for 6 on the Monday night over Easter, the town seemed deserted, but the pub soon filled up at feed time;)

will ring later on post resultsThis might be a hard one, as I found the pub to be hard to book (accomodation wise) , they may be a bit easier on the Dining Room side,,, We need to know numbers pretty soon though to get a fair dinkum booking. The Dining Room aint that big & the outdoor deck will be f@#$*%g cold at night:S
It will be a better option to eat there on the sat night rather than carting extra food etc
But I am also easy on the BBQ option if that`s preferred by the masses , and the Camp Kitchen is shit hot as far as facilities go anyway;) -
