I must be f’ing mad for putting my name down for this ride! If my mate Eagle wasn’t organising this ride I might have pulled out but I can’t let my ‘boy-band good looks’ mate Eagle down. I guess I will just have to wear my thermals all the time (I love my thermals). Really looking for to the riding though!

Hey Boony, depends on the hills. If they are steep but don’t have big steps in them I’m fine. But don’t worry too much about making it suitable for me. If you ask anyone who rides with me, I never complain and I have a go at mostly anything. If on the third attempt I don’t succeed then I concede defeat.

I have ridden in the Bulahdelah mountains which had lots and lots of steep inclines and declines but generally not too rough and I was fine. Didn’t fall off once.

Also meant to add this. If for some reason it is too tough for me then I will just take a really good book and sit the second day out. That’s cool. I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up having to do that anyway cause my back doesn’t handle the rough stuff too well. I am doing the caves to caves ride which is a 2 day-er but it won’t be too hard on me so 2 days will be fine. But if it’s rougher than I might not last it anyway.

It’ll be cool don’t worry. (boom boom, get it, cool! )
