    Here’s hoping everyone enjoys the day, celebrating all things good about being lucky enough to live in Australia.

    How are you spending it??

    I will be riding my Penny Farthing at Wauchope’s Australia day celebrations. Then probably off to the Pub, for a bucket of prawns and a few beers while the kids enjoy the activities put on by the pub.

    What ever you are doing, be proud to be an Aussie.!!

    Ya’ll enjoy the day just that little bit extra to make up for my sad day at work ;)

    I might motard it out to Gosford waterfront and watch the fireworks simulcast with Star 104.5FM for you Murph :)

    Jobs done here, cleaned out work area under the house, rebuilt a rear wheel for a neighbours uncle new rim I organised from Yoko for him, tin lids bikes serviced and checked for tomorrow’s ride for them. Wheels bearings inspected and repacked for tomorrow and next weeks Wauchope trip.

    Of to the rocks, live music, seafood and rum :laugh:

    Salina’s turn to drive home :P

    I dont know if this is true blue ozzie??but this is my activity schedule for today.

    Sitting on the outdoor chairs in the shed having a cold beer with the missus
    ,then we are having meat pies for lunch,
    and tea will be consisting of BBQ steak with eggs and chips.

    Well I have had my Australia day lunch – BBQ prepared by KD ( I only stood near the BBQ and turned the meat) A couple of VB’s and now to sit inside and enjoy the electricity to power the AC that Murph prepared earlier. :) :) :)

    :woohoo: Yeah, Thanx Murph for the lectricity to power the ac while we went into the Foreshore today ;)

    We headed in to find things in full swing, people everywhere & a general good time being had by all.
    Snapped a few piccies of the harbour from atop the “BIG PENIS” as it is known around

    Saw the Hunter Valley Vintage Farm Machinery Group at the foreshore too, and while I couldn`t find one of those much talked about Suzuki Banana Tractors,,, I DID MANAGE TO FIND AN EARLY MODEL HONDA

    Saw a classic FC Holden I think it was , complete with Whitewall Tyres, Foxtail & the old Mal on the roof cruising about, How Aussie can you get????

    Then had lunch at Nobbies Beach kiosk before doing the Fort Scratchley thing with a tunnel tour & ceremonial 6inch Guns Firing thrown in.
    Everything today was free except for lunch of course :laugh: Parking, tours, shuttle Bus to & fro all FREE :woohoo:
