I have another query while we have you attention Dick, is it possible to bend Straight radiator hose to emulate a OEM hose?
Reason I ask is I have a good supply of straight hose hanging on my shed wall, and the young fellas KX60 needs new hoses.

Dick says no Blue buy new, the radius of the bends on most hoses on most bikes is to tight. The hose will kink and restrict the flow even the more expensive silicon hose wont stop kinking.

Dick says buy the kit made for the job

Dick also thinks that a man of the world like you should have known this and smells a Rat or is that Rat smells.

Dick says ask Rat about coolant restrictions and moto cool

Thanks Dick, no Rat here at all honest question as there may be some obscure trick I am unaware of, like renewing plastics with heat gun etc.
Just ordered new set on that info thanks heaps.

Dick needs to know what carby your particular KTM has but can share this with you

Dick says if it has a Keihin flat side as some of your model did its a throttle position sensor

Dick will tell you if its a Mikuni BS40 which was more common on your model its to help prevent to engine dying in the whoops sometimes disconnecting it will fix it instead
Dick says best jetting for these carbys are
47.5 pilot one up from standard
    177 main
Needle 2nd clip from the top

Dick will also tell you this for nothing your bike its a bitsa

so is this info confirmed now you know that it has a Mikuni?

and can you please elaborate on your statement i have underlined?
