Its time to come clean Mick, heres what we did in Moto’s car on sunday whilst he was out riding, maybe it caused a problem I don’t know (Mick didn’t drive he sat in the passengers sit and cried)

Lucky Ollie had his video and we found a quiet area

Now you mention it TB, when I stuck my head out the window to hurl, I did hear some unusual noises, sorta like a rev limiter not working right. maybe it was just valve bounce??

Well!! come on moto was it the battery or a coil?:P

No it wasn’t the battery :( After having a new battery and a mobile mechanic look at it, it’s now at a Subaru dealership waiting to be fixed. Don’t know what the issue is. Suspect it’s the immobiliser unit.

    Not happy though

Thanks mate, but I have a habit of breaking things you lend me! Hopefully, I’ll know more in a little while when they give me a call diagnosing the problem and tell me how long it will take to fix.

Well, the problem is the alarm module which has a short. They will get another part overnighted from Sydney and I am told my car will be available from 11:30am tomorrow morning.

The cost I hear you ask? Well, with the labour for fitting, programming of new codes etc and the cost of the part it’s gonna rush me $1297.50. That in addition to the $345 I spent yesterday brings me to a grand total of $1642.50. Don’t you just love cars :silly:

Champo has yet again come to the rescue. To save a very long and complicated bike collection procedure tomorrow afternoon/night and to save my girlfriend coming to get me from work tonight he has lent me the ute again. Hopefully I won’t break it this time ;) Paying for any more car repairs would make me resoprt to jumping out of my window at work.

I would feel pretty silly doing that as it’s only 1.5m high

Yes, I get lots of extra pennies at the end of the month. Not much good then though. Would be nice to have them before Christmas.
