We have been doing a few CRF 250/450 heads in the last few months and I’d like to offer my fellow Honda riders a deal.
A full head service with a Kibblewhite Black Diamond inlet valve kit fitted for $350, including setting valve shim clearances.
We have found the Kibblewhite valves very good in both performance and service life. 100 hours is average in the CRF engine provided you don’t dust the engine with a blocked filter.
We can remove and refit the head too and have all the go fast parts for them like pistons and cams. The 250 really responds well to a hotcam.
Give Blake or Nick a call on 02 4732 2626 and stop paying $800-1500 for a head service, it’s just not required. Ask TB and Nick J how their bikes have stood up from our head work. We do it all in house so there are no sublet costs, we can pass the savings on.
