    Hi Bollocks,

I love your new mount ‘Herman’. I certainly fits his name.

I have a Helga which takes me on my road rides . Just got back from 3 days down the Snowy’s – 1400km and I was surprised at the number of men (other BMW riders) who come over and check her out. I packed the panniers full of camping equipment and red wine and she didn’t moan with the weight. I was able to open her up on some lonely back roads and she was just warming up at 140km/h. I hope one day to share an adventure ride with you just to see Herman in action. That’s if I can keep up :woohoo:

:D So what, you she had to carry 60Kg :P

Ha Ha Jeffro…. if the 60kg refers to my personal weight…. … I have you know that I’m down to 47kg so have more ability pack more on Helga… eat less but drink more…. thinking about it – it doesn’t sound good does it. Oh well. There is an upside.. I think…I just got to work it out.

    Hey Boll,

Not sure you fit the mould for BMW owners yet. You’d better go out and invest in one of those white flip up face helmets, some flip up glasses/sunnies and bib and braces (preferably with the bmw logo).

You had also better learn the walk. You know the one. Slow pace. Hands clasped behind the back. Slightly stiff legged. Look of internal reflection on the face with the occasional chin rub as you look in disbelief at people who have the audasity to take their bike offroad and get them dirty.

Bike is now home…took it for a spin, managed to chuck a nice wheelie in the back yard.
Took it for a spin around Byron Bay on sunset yesterday…its friggin awesome… :cheer:
Thanks to all for your nice comments…and to the others…bite me

Now,looks like its bad Karma to name the bike a blokes name like “Hermin”..and Kat has a “Helga”….She will now be known as “Heidi”..No shortage of crakin German sorts going by that name

As for the high country ride…gotta learn how to ride it first…baby steps :)

    Bol :woohoo:
