July 2, 2009 at 12:21 pm #137776I have been told that if you spray some of this on your hands you will have no problems!

Im gunna give it a try and if it doesn’t work I will purchase some grip heaters
July 3, 2009 at 7:41 am #137777Pads & new grips are on, switch bkt made and wiring is half run & clipped to the bars;)
Just wanna confirm which wire to connect the other end to get 12v from the light tomorrow after soccer & she will be WARM HANDS on the way to work Monday morn:)

Installation is a piece of cake, probably 1.5hrs total
Thanks again to Mal at Sutto`s for the great deal & productB)

your dead right ,,,I haven`t got a clue:(
July 4, 2009 at 6:44 am #137779Now have em wired up, working and yes the hands are nice & warm;)
Left it running on the low setting for a solid 5 mins before the left grip heated enough to notice with bare hands (would have been good to insulate the bar first , as a lot of the heat is transferred into the bars first:huh: ) The throttle tube, being plastic, is almost instantaneous warmth:)

I have temporarily wired the power lead straight from the battery at present, till I am 100 % happy with the test ride on Monday,,,, I also need to get to work to use the heat gun to shrink all the heatshrink on the cable connections etc;)
One point to note is , the positioning on the WHITE RESISTOR, as it gets F@%#&*@G HOT:blink: So be careful to keep it away from other importatnt cables & plastic parts!!!
Mine is cable tied to a small steel bar on the bottom of the headlight assembly, where it will also get tonnes of fresh cool air whilst on the move
So FAR, Very Happy indeed:woohoo:Good Luck All
