Thanks everyone!!
Trailboss, most weekends? HA my last ride would of been 4 months ago… Actually thinking about it now probably even longer. Holly crap!! Looking at getting into it a little more now. Im a baby faced 26 mate. Where abouts you mainly ride?
Mr Blue, I couldn’t agree more… I think the 03 model WR250 has to be one of the best looking of that model. Duck tape does wonders haha.
Well thanks for everyone who has welcomed me so far and replied to my Intro. I hope to ride with you in the not so distant future.

March 1, 2010 at 1:43 am #171991Hi Freeze.
Welcome… I’m also from Hornsby and try and get out often around the Central Coast / Watagan’s area. If your happy for a girlie to tag along .. that has a tongue like a whip … then let me know when your riding…
March 1, 2010 at 5:55 am #172266gyday Freeze welcome to the site as mentioned before Myself and Gili live in Hornsby and we venture up to the Watagans and Clarence now and then, we will have to hook up for a ride soon

OllieHeya ollie, sounds good mate but just to remind you I am slow haha. A few months back myself and a few mates went for a ride with people who said they were average… Bloody Hell, we didn’t see them for the rest of the day. I just dont understand how people ride that fast through the bush, its insane!
Maybe we could learn some new trails though. Woo Hoo!! 😆
March 2, 2010 at 1:00 am #172388G’day freeze and welcome to the site and don’t let the old bulls fool ya that they ride slow I have only been on one ride with them sofar and I stuggled to keep up and I came off only 3 times but boy did I have fun the only way you can get better is by trying to ride harder faster and with more skilled riders you soon learn to ride within your own limits.Since that ride my xr has had a few changes as far as removal of blinkers and mirrors and a luggage rack and of course a new FMF pipe and K&N air filter have transformed my bike to real enduro bike not a commuter just need to get a chunky rear tyre anyway enjoy we may meet up for a ride oneday

Hey freeze
I lost a number plate, number plate holder, rear tail light and a front brake lever and that was during an OBT ride
March 2, 2010 at 10:01 am #172443one thing I have learnt on an Old Bulls ride is even if you ride like me,,exceptionally slow, all riders wait for each other and all riders come home in the pack,,unless your like Tony and get yourself lost, but even then we sent out a search party for him and we would still be looking if we had to.

March 2, 2010 at 11:08 am #172445Hey Freeze Dont worry to much if your a bit off the pace  Gives us old blokes a chance to catch a breath  Be glad to show you some tracks around the Watagans,we mainly ride southside which can be pretty technical but less people use it and the trails are not as rutted out like the Pines area.
I will put up a ride in the near future if your interested
Ollie
