BTW: I’m still unpacking friggin boxes!
Soooooo OVER it!
September 7, 2012 at 1:29 am #229034Hey Razzle, send Kram a PM, organise a quick blat around the trails at the back of my Parents place off Cresent head Rd straight into maria state forest. (park at the train line overpass at scribbly Gum where we have a little closed Enduro Loop) I reckon a couple of the Tracks may be a bit covered over with Lantana and need clearing. It will take your mind off the unpacking for an arvo
all therapy of course

I would have taken the plate off and done some urban enduro by now
Didn’t you get a VERY expensive fine for doing that in Kempsey
Errr…yes, but that was in the car, and it was because of a lack of rego, not lack of a plate

Damn, I thought it was flying around Kempsey on an un-reg’d bike! Would have been a much better story
September 7, 2012 at 2:00 am #229040I did do a mono past a copper in a car near Mick’s house though. She let me off as she was off duty, Mick knows her apparently. Just as well I didn’t mention I just rode from his house, she might have definitely booked me
I did also low side on the tar right out front of the A4DE, sparks flying into the air from my footpegs just behind TB
There are always stories 😆

I was waiting for a comment on the Vespa … I omitted that from my previous “My Garage” thread
THE VESPA ROCKS! … well it did in Sydney anyway, not sure how it will go down in Kempsey  Ah well, like I care, I’ll be “that guy” on the Vespa at Woolies Kempsey

Thanks Ollie, but no rest for the wicked today … it’s weirdly hot and windy here so I’m trying to get all the stuff (boxes etc) out of the middle of my yard and packed away etc. Luckily I’ve got a big old shed here too so lots of stuff is just going in there and covered till later.
I’ll be doing that ride behind your parents place real soon though … one of many rides, soon.

You’ll only that be ‘that guy’ in Kempsey once. After your first trip to Woolworths I’m fairly sure you’ll come back and find someone has kicked the shit out of it
Which brings me neatly to my second point, I don’t think Kempsey is upmarket enough for a Woolies
Like I can talk, I get farrkwits riding past my house every time it rains doing burnouts up the hill

Hmmm, not sure you’ll be running for Mayor of Kempsey anytime soon 😆
And, we’re upmarket enough to be getting an Aldi around Christmas 😆 😆 (apparently, they’ve been saying that for two years).
Not sure “Aldi” and “Woolies” actually go in the same sentence and “upmarket”?? The black woolies bag will look cool on the bag hook of the Vespa (or is that “look Gay”?)!
September 7, 2012 at 8:41 pm #229063Not as gay as 4 stroke so you might just be able to pull it off Razzle-ma-tazzle style
September 7, 2012 at 10:18 pm #229077The last time we rode the “closed enduro loop” behind Ollie’s old’s place, it was pretty “how ya goin”, it was a bit over grown and the bottom section was wet as blazes and had been trashed by 4×4’s. That was about a year ago though. There are still some good tracks in that section of bush though and a few tricky little hills to practice on.
The Vespa is cool I think and it can’t be any gayer than my mighty 1968 C90 cub!! I am still yet to ride it in public, the kids have a ball on it in the yard though.
September 8, 2012 at 8:17 pm #229078The C90 Cub is cool Mick. 1968! and its still going strong and getting a thrashing by the look of it.
Would actually be worth a bit of cash in Sydney, retro is IN! You see plenty of pretty cool CT110’s and stripped bare step-through’s around, especially uni students etc.
Also, thanks for doing some research re tradies for me … would be great to find someone good via recommendation. As mentioned the garage under the house if first priority … then a big old (very cool) hardwood shed…… the house is last, it’s completely liveable for the time being.
September 8, 2012 at 9:07 pm #229121No worries Razzle, I know a builder that can do some work for you ( I work with his wife). Their son also lives in Kempsey and is a builder too.
The C90 cost me $50, another $24 for a 6V battery and I gave it a carbyectamy and away it went! I have banned my son from riding it as he tries to ride it like his YZ250F. It wouldn’t last long with him on it.
I am in two minds whether to restore it or just leave it all retro and just give the motor a freshen up.
