    all,
having been given a helmet cam, eagleeye, similar to atk , wantrd some tips on mounting up.
comes with mounting shoe and velcro straps, butcant seem to get a secure fit. dont want to fit on top as will get wiped out by branches, lantana etc.
under the visor , shape of visor wont allow good fit.
which leaves the side of helmet. My question is how, do others use adhesives, straps, bolts or what.

the most secure soution would be to bolt it on, but wouldnt drilling holes in helmet affect the helmets integrity?

look forward to advice and some photos of setups would be great.

    thanks,
    morgo

Hey Morgo,my ATC3k has a rubber strap that goes around the helmet. Fitted to the strap is a plastic shoe for the camera foot to slip in. I found I had to cable tie the strap and foot onto the side of the helmet so that it wouldnt move around.Took a bit of trial and error to get it right but it worked out good in the end.

    cheers,

    Ollie
