Right…. so who knows what about helmet cams. Was looking at getting one of those V.I.O POV1 jobs or an Elmo? but wanted to get any ideas from anyone regarding any better options. Price, Pics and even sample veiws would be great.

    Gili Gili Gili,
Such a technical question from someone so young. If I were as young as you I would probably go for the ELMO.:woohoo:

Hey Gilli, just got me a ATC3k oregon scientific job,got it off Ebay for $245 dollars and that included a 4gig SD card and free express postage this is the latest version.I also have a sony pencil cam which plugs into a portable media player with a video in jack. But the card is max 1 gig (about 40 minutes)and you have wires and microphones and battery pack to worry about which can be a pain in the arse.I will trial it out next ride and give a full report,Hey Tiny interested in another ride i need some action footage:laugh:

well I got the vio pov its much better than the elmo ( says the guys at launch cameras)with the picture quality difference very noticeable and its easier to operate when downloading into your puter, wot I liked about the pov 1 is it takes AA batteries and I can carry spares in my bag whereas the elmo has the in built nicad which obviously if it goes flat on you out there you have to charge the whole thing up back at the house.. It was touch and go for me tho which one to buy,, tho I do like the remote stop start record unit which will be on my wrist,, the elmo didnt have that,, now for sale one used oregon atk2 helmet camera with cables $160.00,, zippo
