    After seeing stms headcam footage of macksville macka wants one.He is looking at a Tachyon XC Micro $180 16gb are they any good? He wants a top monted one.

    Transmoto did an excellent shootout of helmet cans. Try their website while I dig up the back issue.
    If he enjoyed them on YouTube wait till you see the raw files in full res. You think you are on the bike.

    Mine is the first version Go Pro which is standard definition and it was $400 but it is a bit less now as the new HD one is on the market. If you want to edit full res files go the HD but if it is just for YouTube and file sharing the standard one is fine. They are for sale below $300 now.

    I found that article and the Tachyon XC Micro gets a good wrap. Out of 8 cameras it came third and on value it is the clear winner.
    It is also waterproof to 30 meters so Macka could use it in Bello. :laugh:

    Hi guys. I have the new GoPro HD and i think its pretty good and i bought what i call the bra strap and i mount it on my chest and i find it gives a different perspective of the trail and rider, the chest harness ( bra strap ) cost $30.

    The only thing about HD is you have to make sure your computer will handle it as windows media player doesnt seem to like it but i downloaded Divx player and it goes alright.

    From memory i think it says you need at least 1 gig of ram for your computer to play it properly.

    I have scanned and attached the article from Transmoto here for you. By all accounts it looks like a great camera for the money and perfect for online sharing and making mates jealous.

    Have a look at this site in US, seem to be fairly reasonable prices. Not sure on comparison over here though. http://www.tachyoninc.com/
