    It looks almost Paris-Dakar race style doesn’t it?

    If it was closer and i had a few grand spare knocking around I may have considered it. Unfortunately it’s in QLD and I don’y have a few cents lying around at the minute :(

    honda started calling them dominators. i think because they won dakar on them 2 years in a row at the end of the 80’s. i imagine that they must have been completly different bikes. i would not like to race dakar on mine. would be too flexy

    Dominator is such a gay sounding name. I don’t think the Dakar bikes would have the same suspension components as your bike :p Interesting they did the Dakar though.

    Where’s TB to big up the Honda cause? The software he’s using to flag up any message on the web with the word ‘Honda’ in must have developed a bug……

    i think people try not to call them dominators. bit vein for the australian market. most people call them dommies. we just call it the nx

    honda=sux . i’ll just test tb’s hondar

    I’d just call it ‘The NX’ too as even Dommies sounds very limp wristed.

    HONDA SUCK BAT!

    Ha ha, this is fun :p Although we are the only ones here to laugh :laugh: :blush:

    Seems so. Note that it works slow on a Friday arvo though and we can get a good 20 mins of digs in before we get busted :p

    You have to lok at a husky ..try TE 610. Around 04- 05 may find a good one in price range. Are motardable..and are an awesome engine.I’m an ex XT 500 fan and the ocassional XL 500 found its way into my life too. No bike I’ve had is close to the usability of the Husky. Power is very linear, smooth output.Seat height maybe only bugbear if your short in the leg dept.?

    Neither Dan or Kylie are small so leg length shouldn’t be too much of an issue, especially when touring.

    If I had more money I’d look at the big Husky….

    Theres a KLR650 on ebay at the moment that we want to go and have a look at but the seller hasn’t responded to our email yet.

    Not a bad looking bike to bad it’s not a Yammie.
