Congrats TB on the NX!!! They are a really good bike. I have only ridden ours a couple of times & really enjoyed the ride. They are really comfy for a passenger too, just make sure the sitcover has some grip otherwise Salina will slide all over the place!
Looks like Champo & I are going to have some buddies to go touring with!!

I’ve seen how good Chop cleans a bike, it looked brand new before we left on the Orange ride. I’d pay him to clean mine! In fact, whilst it’s still at TB’s what do you reckon Chop? :p

The KLR is home now. Ordered a lowering link to help the vertically challanged one. It seems a very nice bike to ride. Power delivery is nice and smooth, and the ride is super plush. I might get to have more of a go on it this weekend if Kylie lets me (considering it’s her bike).
I do feel like a bit of a turn coat bringing a red green bike into a blue shed. I’ll live though.

Just a last note from me on this subject. We have just realised that the guy we bought it from had it advertised as an 04 model but it’s actually an 05 model. So we got an 05 KLR650 with only 1400kms on it for $5,500! Happy happy joy joy!

i don’t think that the hieght it not always the issue. i think raceytracy’s legs are longer than mine. i’m just heavier and have longer feet.

and santa, the new bike shop at near motto farm stocks andy straps soft panniers. aussie made, therefore tuff, clever and practical. just like aussies

raceytracy n i will be camping up seal rocks surfing with friends all next week till chrissy. you could ride through the forest past raymond terrace, up the buckucts way, down lakes way and drop in at us at seal rocks for a swim. dand may brorrow the nx if he is extra nice.

hope you didn’t wash of the tattoos.
while i was there yesterday, i should have got your girls to draw one of their tottoos on me for todays faculty meeting

Well done on the purchase. The KLR are a great bike ,My brother Ant rode one from New Orleans to the Arctic circle then back to Vancouver and the only things that went wrong were the gear stick broke in half( in the middle of no were in the Yukon, liquid steel fixed that) and the muffler blew off at a set of lights.

Thanks for the offer Champo on the NX. I will probably go 2 up with KylieD when we go for a ride. Only time I’ll get to have my hands all over her and not get in trouble.

Unfortunately my tatts washed off:( Kylie’s however were a little more long lasting. I’m sure the little D would of been happy to give you a tat. She does flowers, love hearts and even flames now.
