Im not takeing the piss but i think i had to do this to my xr6 kick starter boss a few times it may been alloy to start but i broke it on the 2nd attempt and then put on a XR500 steel boss but not sure as it was 10 years ago

Anonymoushey we made it home.
we bought a pointy vice grip at bello just in case, used a bit more clutch during changes and keep and eye on it. we also rode the hwy home to lesson the number of gear changes. (therefore also got out of dropping in at racytracy’s mums farm – damn)
if i havn’t rang you and thanked you allready. thanks :kiss:
after an 11 day bike ride we should post some sort of report.
