Oh well. Apart from 12/45 on single trail, bike is standard.(derestricted of course) Mod to be done is Barrett pipe, approx 7hp freed.Ride with a couple of mates around the Toogum,Burrum,Torbanlea area of the FRASER COAST. 4 hour rides we cover 140k..ish with 58% single trail work. I have trouble with a lack of effectiveness with Locktite, particularly on the sprocket bolts, This baby give em heaps, no spoke probs to date..all true at nearly 8 mnths? Suspension is a dream, Seat..Phht…plank.Apart from that plans in line for some bags and camp gear…Long rides are a coming..

MickMay 30, 2008 at 12:57 pm #104886Guys, TrailBoss is on his way to Finke and will be generating a lot of interest in the site, in the mean time please keep the posts coming, the best way to attract new members is to make the forum busy and interesting. TB has already spoken to a couple of high profile people in the sport and they are interested in contributing to the site and love the idea behind it.. We have had a hell of a lot of hits on the site so their is definitely some interest there, we just need to keep it interesting and informative. TB will be updating shortly (when he gets some net access on the OLD BULL Laptop!!), with some FINKE trip details, sounds like it’s already been a bit of an adventure and their not even there yet, I’ve heard the police mentioned but didn’t get to much detail, so stay tuned and tell all your mates.
Cheers
Chris.May 30, 2008 at 1:02 pm #104887Hey Husky610, welcome and thanks for coming, Fraser Coast, so is that near fraser Island, that would be one thing I’d love to do, did it years ago in a hired 4wd and had a awesome time, going over on a bike and camping a couple of days would be even better.
Cheers
Chris.May 31, 2008 at 5:40 am #104888Yep, thats the place. I’ve been here 15 yrs, never been on the Isl. . I’ve been right around the thing on boats, have no interest it seems n being on it. sorry, Went for job int. there?. Anyway, I digress…. We ride an area here called the Telecom Towers. They’d be on a rocky cropped mini range(400mtr? high), covered in hardwood vegetation. We ride some of the trails on the side of it caused by water run-off. Tight and twisted slow speed tracks.Fire trails grid the area, some old mine roads and then beaches. Rainbow Beach runs us down to Noosa Heads,Being the next run I’m aiming for, the return can be done swapping the sand for bush tracks in hills. This will be a 2 day thing, Rainbow is around 120 ish klm’s from home..

June 15, 2008 at 7:03 am #104941Its would seem as your trusted brother who you going to sell split rims to has or had control of that and I was told it was taped over, I failed to understand that as there was many tapes that we paid for???
I think Bana still has some sort of contact with him do you mate? Maybe you could source something?
June 16, 2008 at 10:00 am #104942I will ask him where it is and get it from him and do it myself.
